Glad you enjoyed the video Patrick!

There's a great step-by-step for the Pixel Block players that can be found here: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/1696226/article/24980628#24980628

So I’m new to the whole Techno Bowl unplugged game. I haven’t received my copy of the base game yet that I bought off the secondary market. I’m reading the rules for this expansion and I don’t quite understand how you draft new team players or trade existing players if the printed players and player cards are already set for each team? Are people just making up their own new players?

Hey Devin!

There are a few ways that you can tackle this. The first is to use index cards and league rosters to track the changes. It's simple, it works, and it's free. However, this method does require a little more work from everyone in the league.

The other is to have everyone participating in the league buy a divisional pack of cards from DriveThruCards.com. Coaches can then split the decks in such a manner that all of the coaches have multiple decks for their team. You would then, in true Legacy gaming tradition, modify the cards with a permanent marker when abilities, names, or other changes were made. This allows you to trade cards with other coaches when players are released from your roster or into free agency. Additionally, if you end up retiring a franchise player, you can display their card with it's complete history in your stadium.

Funny you should ask! I just had someone else make a request for a physical version. So, I'm now planning to make that happen. I don't have a definite timeline or date for when, but it won't be too difficult and shouldn't be that long of a wait.

I just skimmed through this: Route Runner and Motion Offense are my favs right off the bat. I love to throw down the field and open up receivers. I am such a reactive player, the extra motion on offense will be nice. Well done!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
