This product was officially released by Lord Zsezse Works in 2014.
This is the re-release of that product without any changes but with a physical copy option.

The Marble Sanctum was created thousands of years ago by a powerful sect of necromantic arch-mages. Using a magical artifact called the Tao Engine; they pressurized and heated the limestone in place to create a massive marbleized network of rooms and passages. It was a fortress and center of magical research for the faction’s leading arch lich-mage.

It would also become his eternal tomb in the last battle of the Azi-Schism in which knights of the opposing faction succeeded in sacking the Sanctum and imprisoning the lich-mage within. As the centuries passed and the jungle engulfed the fortress, it was forgotten along with its sole remaining inhabitant. In time his necromantic energy spread throughout the island, infesting the Sanctum and the island itself with various types of undead.

Eventually the march of time would reopen the fortress to be explored once more.

Much of the fortress has since collapsed into a massive sinkhole that formed beneath the Sanctum. Having weakened over time, the magic seals placed on its main door entrance have also given way. No one before could rid the island of its evil presence or find the secret and powerful treasures located deep within the Sanctum; until now.

Testimonials:

qmark_start.pngqmark_end.pngI was not disappointed! What I was looking forward to the most, however, was the in-game history behind the Marble Sanctum, and after opening the download and devouring the 'Information.PDF', I was most pleased indeed!

Behind the maps

I’ve created my products because they make my work easier as a Game Master, and game sessions are more enjoyable with them. I’ve forged all of my experience and knowledge I collected as Game Master and 3D artist in the past years into these tiles and I hope you will enjoy them at least as much as I enjoyed working on them. If you still have questions, please read the FAQ below or write to me in the comment section, I will try to reply you as soon as I can.

Have a good game!

F.A.Q.

- Can I write on the printed version?
These tiles are finished with a low-gloss UV coating on both sides, which makes them water-drop resistant. You can write on them with wet-erase markers, ; you can remove them without any stains.

- How can I attach the tiles to each other?
You can easily attach them with transparent tape strains. Due to the finish of the surface, they will not remove the paint and will be almost invisible. Or you can use a tablecloth, tiles will slide less on it.

- I’m from Europe, can I still order printed cards?
Hey, I live in Europe (Hungary), too! Because the tiles will be printed in the U.S., the only way to lower your cost of shipping is if you order more printed products from me, because you will get them in one package and shipping fee will not change. Look around among my products below, perhaps you will find something that you would also like to see on your tabletop.

Can these be arranged into different configurations, or are they really intended to make just the maps shown above?

Thank you for asking, these are maps, so you cannot alter them, you'll receive them fixed as you can see in the pictures. I updated the description with the video links.

I predominantly use a virtual table top; are the images in these set up to be compatible with a VTT?

Hi, the images for Virtual tabletops are JPG files, you can use them in those VTT Softwares where you can load in images, but the walls/doors are not pre-made so they will not cast a shadow, etc.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
