Tales of the apocalypse never have an enviable fate in store for our planet. Alien invasions, insurgent robots, nuclear war, interdimensional incursions, meteor impacts; Earth has seen it all. But all these things happening at the same time? Now that’s a Doomsday Scenario.

This player's guide to Doomsday Scenario details the following:

- Spoiler-free Doomsday Scenario setting description with short gazetteer of the most important locations in the post-apocalyptic wasteland that is the American west coast.

- Descriptions and rules for play for the five new non-human player races and two distinct groups of human survivors. Players can choose from:

- Qrall: shocktroopers of the alien invaders whose ships crashed on Earth. Their protean biosuits make each of them a deadly, versatile force on the battlefield.
- Abyssal: inorganic beings from the Void, a dimension of pure thought and energy. Deposited on Earth through a rift in the dimensional walls, the inscrutable Abyssal possess many strange powers.
- Mutants: the evolved heirs to mankind, loathed and feared for their advanced, inhuman looks and abilities. Pushed to the brink by human prejudice, Mutants across the waste band together in a desperate struggle for survival.
- Machines: agents of the nefarious Integrated Supercomputer, these mechanical beings range from the humanoid Androids to entirely uniquely shaped creations.
- Grex: intelligent amoebae are sent out by the Grex, a collossal communal creature, to scour the wastes in its quest to devour organic life and transform everything into its likeness.
- Humans: the zealous, xenophobic remnant of the US Army known as the New Order tries to exert its dominance over the wasteland, while the ordinary Wasters are the unfortunates caught in the middle.

- Fifty new Edges and Hindrances for use with the new races

- Ten new Powers and three new Arcane Backgrounds: Conduits (channeling cosmic energies), Metamorphs (bodily transformations) and Reactives (unique reactions triggered by catalysts).
