Greetings adventurers and Game Masters! 

I am very pleased to announce release of “THE OLD SCHOOL”, the first in my all new series of Old School adventures! This module is intended for 4 to 6 seasoned adventurers of levels 4 to 6. In this adventure your players will be exploring above and below an ancient academy on the edge of great Parched Desert and the goodly nation of The Imperium. 

Synopsis: This adventure takes place off the beaten track and on the outskirts of civilization. It may be dropped into your campaign whenever your players are on a journey between destinations, as they will be exploring a locale they stumble upon by mere happenstance. Your players will be travelling when they are beset by inclement weather and, while seeking shelter, they will come across the ruins of a seemingly abandoned keep. They soon discover the keep is not actually abandoned, but has been occupied by a travelling hunting party of humanoids who were also caught out in the storm. With no other shelter in sight and the dangerous storm intensifying, your players will have to best these creatures to lay claim to this shelter

However, once they have eliminated the humanoid threat, they will learn they have discovered the ruins of an ancient training academy, which holds further secrets worth exploring. Happening upon a secret stairwell which descends into the catacombs below, your players will become trapped there and be required to run the same gauntlet the ancient academy’s student had to traverse in order to graduate.

Can your players pass this test?

In this module your players will face off against a hunting band of bugbears and then delve below the ancient, ruined Academy to unlock the secrets and treasures contained in its catacombs! It is a rollicking good hack and slash delve with a dash of nostalgia and tongue in cheek humour thrown in to boot! This adventure is written to be compatible with OSRIC (& other OSR retroclones), and useable with most fantasy ruleset. It features several wondrous new magical items and new monsters to challenge and reward your players!
