THE GOBLINS' DEN

Your village is out of food! Your only hope is to bring back gold from an old goblin-infested ruin.

GO ON AN ADVENTURE RIGHT NOW!

No preparation required. It only takes a few minutes to read the rules. The rooms are fully scripted and you'll be given the instructions you need to progress. So don't waste any more time and start playing now!

SUPER FUN RULES

KEEP THE SURPRISE

With Dungeon solo, no risk of spoilers! The different rooms of the dungeon are presented on several pages. This way, you keep the surprise of the discovery.

EXPAND THE ADVENTURE...

This book offers a unique experience at the borderline between a board game with simple but structured rules and a solo role-playing game with inspirations provided to pursue the adventure yourself.
The dungeon is fully scripted but don't stop there! As you explore, you'll be given narrative leads to expand the adventure. When you feel you have enough elements, don't hesitate to take control of the scenario to conclude YOUR adventure.

...WHEREVER YOU WANT!

Rogue Solo is the first tool assited rpg for solo players. Works great even on vacation!

Just to keep it in the same style, you could also change PV to HP on p.22. It's the only time HP are referred to differently.

A print version and I would have payed for in an instant. I dislike dealing with pdf for gaming and using my printer is not cost effective.

A question about the game (for the all episodes). What about replayability. Is it still fun to play after the first time an episod is complete?

After playing through it just now, I don't think it's replayable. It's still 2-3 h of fun for under 1 € :)

In this adventure there is no market where you can buy/sell items.
ChapelRock is a small town and (currently) no items are useful for adventurers

Hello,
Thanks for your comments.

Page 8, STRENGTH should be understood as SKILL.

A correction will be made in the next volumes

Do not hesitate to ask questions if other points are not clear to you.

Hello! Could you give some rules clarification for the following questions, please?

- What is the line of sight of the monsters? Straight lines, diagonals, how far away?

- What happens when you miss an attack?

- If you start a fight, don't the other enemies get alerted? If you kill them on the first hit they don't get alerted, and if they are alive they do get alerted?

- Can you move diagonally?

- Opening/closing doors/chests does not consume movement?

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Dungeons Solo and for your comment.

The line of sight of the monsters must be clear, i.e. it must not be blocked by a door or a wall. If you can draw a straight line between the monster and your character without it being interrupted by a blocking obstacle, it means that the monster can see you (without range limitation)

When you miss an attack, you do not inflict any damage. It is then your opponent's turn.

The rules, in their strictest interpretation, indicate that monsters are only alerted when you are in their line of sight. This rule was constructed to give priority to a play style based on stealth.

The rules do not prohibit diagonal movement

To open doors/chests, your character must be on the chest square. The movement is interrupted.

However, as stated in the preamble of the book, Dungeon Solo is a tool-assisted solo rpg. This book is not intended to be a board game. Therefore,...See more

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
