Deck of Corpses, A Third-Party Mörk Borg Card Deck
by Matt K. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 01/05/2021 16:18:27

Received these in the mail yesterday, then spent half the evening just flipping through them and reading the absolutely unique descriptions of various (66 in total) corpses and things found on the corpses. This is an awesome way to generate random treasures and loot on the corpses that you find in your Mork Borg adventures. Hell, I can see these being used for just about any game with a little tweek.

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you found the corpses handy; and yeah, I can totally see these being useful by GMs of many fantasy systems. One detail: There are 36 corpses. The deck is a d66, which is where the number 66 comes into play.

Dungeon Crafter's Sketch Book (Hex Edition)
by Clyde G. [Verified Purchaser] Date Added: 05/18/2020 07:01:09

Okay, I feel kind of odd even having any complaints here. I mean, it's only $2, and for that price it's a great deal regardless.

I like the concept, having a journal or sketchbook for dungeons fits how I tend to create, so this was a good fit for me. The tables and creative cues are a nice touch. However, losing a section of almost every page to the little tables and cues is frustrating. It effectively makes a section of the page unusable for dungeon design, and forces you to flip back and forth to look at them all. I would have preferred that those had their own pages and that more of the design grid pages had been kept clean for use. Out of 60 pages, only 4 are kept clear for a nice two page spread.

Mind, if you're going to print these out and I would guess that most would, you can fix this yourself by just printing more of those pages... Maybe at some point I will see if I can reassemble this for my own use on an 11x17 page layout to make a saddle stitched booklet possible. A little more work on my end, but as I said, this is only $2.

Hence 4 out of 5.

Thanks for the feedback! The book was designed for print, with the various page spreads working together nicely. As a PDF, it's probably most useful if used online and not printed out. I hope you find the tables useful!
