I bought this PDF set because I had seen HARP advertised in some of the gaming magazines that I get. I wasn't real sure what to expect but this system is incredible. HARP is about having fun gaming and not letting the rules get in the way too much. I really love the monster descriptions and artwork in Monsters: A Field Guide. It brings me back to the days of early D&D where a monster actually had some kind of a description. The main HARP rulebook is a very pleasant read and well laid out. Generally if a chart is referred to in the text it is on a nearby page if not the same page. The Martial Law book definitely adds some good options for warrior classes and combat in general. College of Magic definitely expands on the simple magic system that is found in the main HARP book.
It has taken me quite a while to read through all the material that this pack provides. The books in this pack are not just short books they are a good size. I highly recommend this pack if you are planning on running or playing a HARP campaign.
There is a lot of support available on their forums and website as well as an e-mail mailing list for those interested (that doesn't seem to generate much traffic though).

LIKED: It is all black and white (well greyscale actually) so when I printed it I didn't burn through any of my color cartridges.

DISLIKED: That ICE can't seem to put more books out fast enough.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
