Very useful guide. When setting up my VTT this was really useful for building my table. A "must have" for Genesys players.

If you're using the Genesys magic system in your setting, especially if you're new to it, do not pass this up. It's a fantastic guide for players and GM's alike. For those coming frm other systems, it's an absolute must, as Genesys magic can be quite daunting for the uninitiated. This guide has tons of sample spells for the core 3 magic skills as well as a new magic skill, some talents, and a few new spells that really round out the official offerings. Can't recommend this enough.

The addition of the Psychic skill and Mind spell is very valuable, especially when creating "evil sorcerer" characters! Excellent value for money, even if the other spells have somewhat more limited applications.

If you are playing GeneSys this is a must have fan supplement It gives an easy to follow guide on how magic works in the system.

Pretty much THE must buy companion for Genesys magic.

it's been invaluable for me as a DM to give to players who maybe struggle on the imagination side of what is possible within the system or as a confort blanket for those transitioning from more traditional rpg with spell lists.

the new additions are thoughtful and balanced. it would be so easy to add in tonnes to make easy sales but the author has been remarkable restrained looking for holes that the current actions miss and for the most part suceeding in not stepling on the toes of exsisting spells.

Lots of good magic rules advice. If you want to use magic in a Genesys game, this book is absolutely worth the $3.

This is a great guide for demonstrating what you can do with magic and the new actions fill a gap I'd been pondering how to fill. Definitely worth picking up.

I've been using a spreadsheet for somethign similiar and having the professional looking product to replace it is helpful. The content is great and the new additions to the rules seem well balanced. I'm looking forward to trying them out soon.

I'm not surprised this guide got to Copper Tier in its first 24 hours. It really expends on the Magic section of the Core Rulebook. While this book has some new rules, such as the new Move Spell, Psychic Skill and Creating Custom Implement guidelines, it is mostly about HOW to use existing magic. For many people coming from game systems where magic comes with defined spell lists, Genesys can be confusing. This guide really helps these players — or anyone really — to better comprehend how magic is supposed to be wielded. Even more, it comes with lot of sample spells, all made from core material. The added flavor text makes them so much immersive and will help create their own original spells.
