If you have 7 mothers worshippers in your group, such as Vostor, this adventure a must buy ! If not, I would still highly recommend buying A short Detour. The story puts PCs in a position to make a meaningful choice at some point and all the possible consequences are detailed. Several interesting NPCs you might want to use in your own stories. Plus : thoughts, ideas and rules on how to handle the Chaos Rune in your game.

Six Seasons in Sartar: The Seven Tailed Wolf

Another amazing book by Andrew Logan Montgomery. Heavily connected to Six seasons in Sartar and The Company Of The Dragon, it is designed to conclude the saga in a epic way. As usual, the mood and theme of the campaign is very well thought out. This campaign is about defining who the PCs are. Haraborn? Or the Company Of The Dragon? Is the Vale still home? Only the players will be able do answer this question. Needless to say, it is extremely well written, and I can't wait to GM it... But my CotD campaign is not over yet :) . The writing is excellent as always. You can read it as a novel, but it's not. Many suggestions are given, many options on how to handle this or that event. Many game mechanics. Is it worth your money if you don't plan to GM CoTD? The answer is YES! If you plan to play six Seasons in Sartar, this will improve your game as you will get a lot of background on the Haraborn tula and NPCs. If your campaign is set in the official timeline, there still are so many ideas to borrow. It'll allow your Pcs not only to have the Sartar history in the background, but to be part of it. The Battle Of The Queens. Kallyr's lightbringer Quest...

I Gm'd a couple high profile campaigns in my time. The Enemy Within. The Chicago Chronicles. To me, the ALM Runequest trilogy is in the same league : a campaign every TTRPG player should have played once in their life.

Bravo!

THE COMPANY OF THE DRAGON

I had all the trouble in the world to formulate this opinion! I absolutely want to do justice to the author, and highlight the great qualities of this product.

I would rate it 6 stars out of 5, here's why :

1° It is excessively well written. It is a real pleasure to read. Some passages are poignant. It's awesome!

2° The author has a real concern to help the reader design the ideal campaign for her/his group. Although there is a very detailed general plot, the reader can pick and choose from the proposed adventures as she/he wishes. The reader is free to choose the tone and rhythm of the story. It is amazing!

3° There are many game aids which I think are absolutely essential. Description of initiation. Draconic illumination. Many NPCs described in detail. The community characteristics system outlined at the end of 6 Seasons In Sartar takes its full dimension. Many optional rules to make the job easier. It's great!

4° This campaign is embedded in the history of Sartar, which allows you to become more familiar with the local characters and cultures. Uz, Aldryami, Mostali, Broos, Sundomers etc! It's excellent!

5° This campaign is EPIC.

6° What are you still doing here? Buy it NOW!

Outstanding. Highly recommended. I'm french. I bought Runequest in the late 80s when it came out in France. Back then, I felt overwhelmed by the whole Glorantha thing : the timeline, the gods, the magic... Where do I start? How do I handle a campaign? I gave up.

30 years later, Runequest, Roleplaying in Glorantha came out... And I decided to give it another try. The game is absolutely awesome. Still the same questions arouse : where do I start? How to handle a campaign with players who have no knowledge both of Glorantha and BRP? Someone on social media suggested Six Seasons in Sartar. I decided to give it a try. And I never regretted it. It's a great campaign, but it's much more than that : it's a piece of art. It has a soul. The story is both simple and straightforward, yet deep and well thought out. I appreciate a lot the(I'm not sure of the word), modularity? You can pick what you want in the story, you can make it grim and dark or lighter and full of hope (even though it's a tragedy). The author pieces of advice throughout the book are very helpful.

Now I think I get it. Now I think I can handle a Runequest campaign. Thank You.
