This is a neat book for anyone who has ever wanted to stab Bane in the face. It has full descriptions of all but the most obscure Forgotten Realms gods (who in my opinion are much cooler then the standard D&D pantheon). It only has, however, a score or so combat profiles for the gods, mostly the human greater deities and their servants with a few classics like Lolth thrown in. In the back are descriptions of the divine feats and salient abilities, however if you want to make statistics for other gods found in the book you will need Deities and Demigods as that contains the full rules for making deities. In truth this is mostly a special interest book as very few games will feature PCs of high enough level to do anything but get squashed by a god. Still, it is great fun and an interesting read.
